The Unknown Is Scary

This blog is dedicated to my dog, Baloo. Baloo is my sweet, male, blue-doberman and for a dog and doberman, he's pretty sound. When I first had him, I learned he wasn't afraid of the sounds of a Texas thunderstorm; it didn't phase him at all. Once I helped him make Seattle feel like home and he met my vacuum, well he didn't love it, but he didn't run downstairs either. He'll follow it, obviously keeping space between him and that monster. Today, I found his kryptonite, the albino cichlid at Denny's Pet World. I have never seen him so unsure and scared about something. He anchored his hind legs, stretch the front of him as far as he could, without touching the tank. If the fish moved, even just its mouth, he would jump and step back. Even when I touched the tank, to show him it was nothing, he looked like he didn't trust the fish and kept his eye on it, hahaha.

Tonight's event inspired me to document it, sorry I haven't been around and I hope to have other adventures, be my muse for this blog :)

Hi!

I know I haven't been around for almost a month, but I finally have an opportunity to make a few posts this weekend. This is late, but I hope everyone had a great holiday and new years. Lets celebrate the craziest time of the year, being over with and the beginning of a new year!

For this morning I wanted to share this Ted Talk about Vultures. If you know little to nothing about them, please watch this! They are so very important for our ecosystem and their bald head plays an important role in their survival. I have never thought of them ugly and think their incredible.  Please watch and enjoy!
